Ms.
Elizabeth was born and raised in Oregon, and has been dancing and singing
extensively sing the age of 10. Some of her credits include, lead dancer in
the Classical Ballet performance of "Sleeping Beauty" at
age 15, lead parts in the several musical productions including "Lil` Abner,
Hello Dolly and Meet Me in St. Louis". She was also one of the lead
vocalists in the jazz-pop band "Black Magic".
For eight years Ms. Elizabeth trained in the disciplines of
Ballet, Pointe, Jazz and Tap at Pat Beard's School of Dance in Florence, Oregon
before continuing her this training at the University of Oregon located in
Eugene. In the early 1980's she relocated to Alaska which gave her the
opportunity to fulfill a dream of hers to open her own dance studio. During the
next eleven years Elizabeth taught many a young dancer the disciplines of Ballet
and Tap at "Turning Point School Dance", in Glenn Allen, AK. Currently,
Elizabeth lives in Soldotna, AK. with her husband and four children and has been
a dance instructor of Vergine's Dance Studio since 1997. Along with her
responsibilities as an instructor, and in part as a result of her degree
in "Retail Management" from the Bassist College in Portland,
Oregon, Elizabeth also provides valuable support to the staff as the
Administrative Assistant for the Studio..
