INTRODUCTION

- Vergine’s Dance Studio was
established in 1987 in Soldotna, Alaska. Vergine’s desire to teach the
art of dance is the result of her life long love of dance.
-

- Vergine was born and raised in
Armenia, a former republic of the USSR. She danced throughout her school
years and was later accepted into the National State Dance Company. She later immigrated to Alaska where she desired to teach the
art of ballet, jazz, and other forms of dance.
She believes when a student learns the arts, in a high quality and
professional manner, the results are life-changing.
-
- Many a student and parent have
expressed their gratitude, at the overall changes that the love and
discipline of dance has brought into their life.
The studio has grown dramatically over the years in size, levels, and
aspirations. What started with beginner dance classes has blossomed and
expanded into advanced company dancers, desiring to become professionals
both in dance and all walks of life. Company dancers have traveled
throughout the United States, receiving valuable experience and achieving
tremendous results, through workshops and competitions.
One by one, as each dancer is positively impacted by their experience
with the studio they, in turn, become that positive influence in their
community.
-
- The future for both Vergine and
the studio is a bright one, set on achieving more dreams and higher
standards of quality
